school CRESCENT, VELIMUKK
group Hidha Fathima(30029),Fathima Safla(30028)

This project focuses on Postpartum Depression (PPD), a mental health condition that affects some women after childbirth. The main objective of the project is to create awareness about postpartum depression by explaining its causes, symptoms, stages, risk factors, treatment options, and the importance of family and social support. The project presents information through well-organized slides, illustrations, statistics, real-life case studies, expert opinions, and an Islamic perspective to make the topic easy to understand. It also emphasizes that postpartum depression is a medical condition—not a sign of weakness or lack of faith—and encourages early diagnosis, counseling, medical treatment, and emotional support. By educating the audience, the project aims to reduce stigma, promote mental health awareness, and encourage mothers and their families to seek timely help for a healthier and happier life.
