AL IJAZATH

This project explores the traditional system of Ijazath, the official authorization given by a teacher (Ustad) to a student to share knowledge, teach, or recite specific prayers and dhikr. It is far more than a simple document; it is a sacred, unbroken chain of transmission (Sanad) connecting the student directly back through generations of scholars to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Getting an Ijazath brings both intellectual and spiritual benefits. Intellectually, it guarantees the authenticity and accuracy of sacred knowledge, preserving it without distortion over centuries and instilling academic discipline. Spiritually, this connection bestows immense blessings (Barakah), reminding us that seeking knowledge is not just about collecting information, but taking on a spiritual responsibility. To bring this concept to life, the project highlights Hizbul Bahr, a powerful compilation of Quranic verses and prayers composed by Imam Abul Hasan Al-Shadhuli (R.A). During stressful times facing life's hardships, reciting Hizbul Bahr brings focus, inner peace, and confidence. Ultimately, the project shows that a prayer reaches its full spiritual impact when recited with the permission (Ijazath) of a guide, proving how traditional authorization and spiritual grounding help us to face life's biggest challenges.
